Attorney Stephanie Griffith Beard attended Loyola New Orleans School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in both Texas and Louisiana, and is admitted to practice in all Louisiana and Texas state courts, all Louisiana federal courts, the Eastern District of Texas, as well as the United States Court of Appeal for the Fifth Circuit.

Stephanie Beard worked for a workers' compensation insurance company -- both while attending law school, and after earning her license to practice law. After leaving the insurer's office at the end of 1999, this law office was first established as a general practice in St. Charles Parish, primarily concerned with criminal defense, workers' compensation, and adoption law.
Stephanie served as a public defender for seven years, defending hundreds of people accused of misdemeanor and felony crimes, including DWI, as well as numerous parents and children involved in "child in need of care" proceedings brought by the state of Louisiana through the DCFS (OCS).
Stephanie brings a wide range of experiences to the legal profession, including her background as a public school teacher, a secretary, and an administrative assistant.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics
from the University of Texas at Tyler, and her Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University School of Law in New Or

She opened her private law practice in December 1999, and also serves as a Notary Public.
Stephanie is a Past President of the St. Charles Parish Bar Association, and has served on the Board of Directors for Creative Family Solutions, Inc. in
St. Charles Parish.
Stephanie relocated to Texas in 2020, and no longer accepts legal cases in Louisiana.
